We recently completed a new project for repeat clients located in Nashville's Belmont neighborhood. We were challenged with infusing their newly purchased builder-grade home with character and charm.

Primarily, we wanted to ensure the home felt unique and reflected the clients' personalities. We also needed to incorporate furnishings and accessories from their previous project in a fresh yet cohesive way.

Minimizing construction, we clad the dining room walls with white oak and enlarged an existing opening for a custom bar.

Additionally, we transformed the space at the bottom of the stairs, previously used for coat hanging, into a functional entertaining zone with an additional bar connected to the pool —— catering to our young clients' needs.

This quirky East Nashville home was built by a local architect in the 1980s. The layout initially proved to be a bit tricky——filled with multiple angles and smaller spaces.

Over the course of a year, we gut renovated the entire home and softened up the space with modern finishes and curved architectural details throughout. We also added a large eat-in kitchen with a walk-in pantry, ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom, a walk-in ‘his and hers’ closet, and selected playful, colorful furnishings and accessories for the entire home.

We were lucky enough to work with collaborative clients who trusted us throughout the entire process. In the end, this collaboration not only created a home that reflects this family of four’s playful personalities, but also resulted in us being forever friends.
